Buyer beware!!! i bought the Eheim "1262" turns out it is a 1260. Contacted the seller about returning the pump even offered for him to just send me 20 bucks(the difference in the two new). I understand he may have been misled when he bought it and I was more than willing to work something out with him but he simply stopped communication. He could of at least had the common courtesy to say he wasn't going to do anything about it.

Buyer beware? First things first i tried to resolve this issue with you (matt) many times by offering you a FULL REFUND if you were to send back the product that i had HONESTLY and mistakenly sent you. So before you go and try to bad mouth me to the whole forum for an honest mistake you could have easily sent it back. Especially after accomidating you on your financial difficulties and was a nice guy and cut down the price for you. However, sending the product back wash't good enough for matt instead he tried to ask me for an extra 20$ for a pump that he doesn't even need he rather keep it and call it a BUYER BEWEARE?? doesn't seem like either of us made off with this one. Send it back if you are not satisfied and you can have your payment in full amount, just like i tried telling you via text message.

I would love to send it back.You wanted me too send it and when you received it you would send my money.Would you have sent it to me before you received your money. I think not.As for my "financial" difficulties there are none. I was genuinely trying to make it easier on both of us with the $20 dollars which I still feel is fair. You never responded to my last 2 text. You made zero attempts to resolve this, all ideas for resolution where from me which you obviously took offense too. Kind of funny you bumped on this and other websites every day or too up until this disagreement then you disappeared for several days while it cooled off.Bye the way smart guy model of pump is first thing listed in bold print on back of Eheim pumps not rocket science. Exactly what i was going to say this morning.. this is so stupid, it was an honest mistake that still can be resolved like i said.. He had enough courage to send the money the first time around and once he sends it back and shows me tracking i can send his payment immediately! if he wants.. he will know my address hahaha so its not like im trying to scheme people

Why not just change the Volute for $6. From what I undersatnd the only difference in pumps is that the 1260 volute is restricted and the 1262 is a little bigger. Same impeller and everything else. Eheim Replacement Pump Cover for 1262 Aquarium Pump
