Are you sure the conch is still alive?

My electric blue was an angel for over 2 years. He didn’t bother anything. I had snails, conchs, pep and skunk cleaner shrimp, hammers, frogspawn, acans, zoas, etc. Then one afternoon I came home and he was in the process of destroying or eating my frogspawn. Half of the colony was gone. I took him out of my 28 gal and put him in my 75 thinking maybe he needed more room. He had tripled in size in those 2 years. Within 12 hours he had a new shell on. I would imagine he was looking for a new shell and thought the frogspawn was it. Do you have some empty shells for him to check out? Maybe he is picking on the conch for his shell.
He has been good for a couple of months in the 75 tank. Back to his angel status again but I keep him fed well and keep a close eye on him.

I can't keep turbo snails for very long in my tank because my hermits will eventually kill them. The frustrating part is that there are enough shells laying around that are the same size as the turbo they just killed.

For turbos to survive in my tank they have to quickly learn to stay on the glass.
