So I'm thinking if mounting a Dj strip to my stand to have everything plugged into and be able to easily switch on and off , was wondering what everyone else has and uses

I went to Sam ash and bought a DJ strip for $28...works great

What do u guys have plugged into it?? Is your return pump ran directly to the wall or does it run to the strip?

I label each outlet as to what it is ...return pump, skimmer, reactors, powerheads, and lights are running on mine

I have the same strips but they cost a lot less on Amazon.

I knew I could find it cheaper but Sam ash is 2 min from my house so I figured the extra money was a convenience charge and I didn't have to pay or wait for shipping lol

Do the dj strips just have outlet plugs on the back for each switch or do you have to wire them in?

I use a DJ strip for powering my continuously running things like the skimmer, return pump, vortechs, etc. The nice thing about using one of the DJ strips is it allows you to quickly and easily switch these things on or off for maintenance. I use it all the time to turn off all my pumps for top down viewing or for target feeding corals, etc. Highly recommend them. I've been using the same DJ power strip for years with no problems.
