Hello everyone I'm after knowledge and help from the community.
I have 4 dsuny led panels and want to control them using the 0-10v control from a profilux 4.
I asked the maker for some technical details and after 4 months I finally got a reply as follows:
control signal is PWM and positive, it can be controller by 0-6V.
My question is what would I need to convert the 0-10v from the P4 to the pwm 0-6v to control the leds ?
Thank you in advance for any help
Regards
Anthony

That's a pretty non-specific answer. The "It can be controlled by 0-6V" implies to me that is a DC control voltage. If it is a 0-6V PWM signal it would take a small circuit to make the interface. Hopefully someone answers that has experience with the light.

I might get a DMM and mesure what setting 6V is and never go above that. 0-6V is proprietary, everything in the electricle lighting industry title 24 stuff is all 0-10 volt and has been for years.

That was my thought, without having broad exposure to the international market. It shouldn't hurt anything to perform the test you describe.

Well i took it apart and this is what i found.
I have 3 pics.
The first one is inside the controller. The second is the light on the controller side and the 3rd is the light on the daisy chain side.
In the controller there is a 34vdc from the light

1R +34vdc
GND = Ground (lol)
2B=channel 1 0-4vdc (0-100%)
3G=channel 2 0-4vdc (0-100%)
4Y=channel 3 0-4vdc (0-100%)
5W=channel 4 0-4vdc (0-100%)
6F = NO IDEA !!! its 2 wires into 1 on both ends but carries no voltage?
Will the light controller run this or will I need something else ?
Many thanks
Anthony

Check out MCM.com you need an analog to analog converter 0-10 volts to scale down to 0-6 volts. You may have to construct some of it. find a local electronics shop to help build this so safeties are in place to prevent damage to your equipment. good luck
