Replacing a booster pump in a RO unit with a Aquatec 8800 24V, repining the the different pigtails isn't a problem and the old power supply/pump were also equipped with red/black wire leads- the Aquatec has both black leads. How do you identify the positive wire?

Thank You

pump Model 8841-2J03-B421, 24VAC
supply 24VDC, 1.2Amp

There are so many models of pump that I mis ordered- was supposed to be DC, BUT Aquatec thought my pressures were good so were concerned about the 1.2amp of the previous pump demand. I unplug when not in use. The current power supply powers the RO controller so will continue in service.
