Replacing a booster pump in a RO unit with a Aquatec 8800 24V, repining the the different pigtails isn't a problem and the old power supply/pump were also equipped with red/black wire leads- the Aquatec has both black leads. How do you identify the positive wire?

The Aquatec 8800 24V booster pump is a diaphragm type pump. It basically vibrates a diaphragm to create the boost. The polarity shouldn't make a difference.

Thanks for the heads up- I ordered the wrong pump but will roll with and get the appropriate power supply.
