Do most of you suggest electronic kits like you can find on bulk reef supply or going for the individual testing kits with the chemicals that you have to mix. Right now, I am using my local fish store as they do the service for free, but sometimes it seems silly to run over there when I could do some of it myself so I would know whether to crank up the carbon, turn down the gfo, turn on or off the skimmer, etc, etc.
Thoughts on brands or what I should get?
I have an 85 gallon mix reef acans/torch/hammer/chalice/stylo/monti/lepto/frogspawn/zoas/BTA. I run a skimmer, biopellet reactor, refugium, and 2 AI hydra 26 HD.
