Elegance coral deteriorating faster after dip

So it looks 95 percent detached now. Got much worse after I dipped it. Can it crash a tank in the way an anenome can? Please any advice on next course of action. Again it started detaching on the 2 hour car ride home. Salinity 0.25 pH 7.8 nitrates 20 phosphates. 0.25 calcium at 400 now. Dkh 8. Thanks

I'm sorry to say but that doesn't look good at all. Low flow, low light and don't mess with it. If it can come back, it will have to do it. There's really nothing you can do at this point.

Ouch- I dont dip mine ever as they are a bit more sensitive due to the fact their base is fleshy and not stony as it appears. For elegance, I use peroxide. Placement in tank is very important as is feeding and under moderate light and water flow. It must have sufficient light to produce its most important food source- Zooxanthellae.

So I don't need to remove it? My tank is full of alot of pricey corals I don't want it to crash

The picture you posted wasn't really clear. Can you get one closer with the elegance more in focus?

It doesn't look dead and no, won't nuke your tank. If it starts to deteriorating very quickly it looks like there's a bacterial issue, That's what I would pull something out quickly. You don't want anything that could spread.

It doesn't look dead and no, won't nuke your tank. If it starts to deteriorating very quickly it looks like there's a bacterial issue, That's what I would pull something out quickly. You don't want anything that could spread.

Watch for any sign of infection. Brown jelly is one of them not to mess with.
