Hey guys,
I bought an elegance coral about 10 days ago. The first day it was out and beautiful- about 3-4”. After that I had to change some rock work and my tank and lighting around which took like 5 days of messing with the light settings. The elegance got moved and messed with a bit. It’s now in a spot of 100 PAR but it really hasn’t come out since- so it’s been in its current spot with stable light for about 5 days. It’s Tentacles peaked out a tiny bit yesterday and the day before but only for short periods of time. How long should I leave it in its current location? I Haven’t seen any fish messing with it but it might be going on when I’m not looking. I don’t know if it’s the lighting and all the messing around that’s keeping it closed up or if somebody’s bugging it and it needs to be relocated maybe to my Xenia fuge or something. Thoughts? Thanks!
