Elegance coral on rock

Hi everyone
I have a spot on my rock which is missing something I have always wanted an elegance but I can’t put it on my sand bed as my 9 inch Duncan and 1 foot long tentacle anemone take up all the space . If I put it there the flesh wouldn’t touch the rocks but it would be mounted sideways can anyone see a problem with this ?

Mine seem happiest mounted horizontally, so I can't say whether it would like it or not.

Elegance corals are sand dwelling. Their cone shaped skeleton points down into the sand bed allowing the flesh to rest gently on the sand. It would be happiest there IMO

I really would put it on the sand bed if I could however my Duncan which last time I counted had 120 heads and my long tentacle anemone take up all the space I’ll attempt it on the rocks if it don’t work I’ll put it in my nano until I sell it thank you
