Hello!
I have an Elegance that hasn't been happy for a few days. I thought the torch might be getting a little too close so I have been inching it over to give everything more space. It started opening back up so I thought the problem was solved, but In the process I noticed some white spots on the base. Are these flatworms or am I just paranoid?
Also I have been looking for some guidance on supplements that are beneficial. I feed the tank frozen brine, live mysis and phytoplankton. I supplement with KZ 1234.

The white spots are sponges and will grow. Best foods are mysis shrimp or chopped krill. Assure MAG is no higher than 1400 and nitrates not very high. These corals require moderate light to support photosynthesis which they need and you want to aim for a PAR of about 90-120. Water flow should be moderate as you don’t want the flow to be too high or too low but allowing the tentacles to flow gently. Too little flow and elegance corals likely will not make it. Too much flow and you risk tearing the polyps.

Sponges...that's a relief (i think). Is it okay for them to stay on it? It's looking better, but the tentacles are still pulled in. I will double check the parameters. Appreciate the help!
