I’m afraid I have no idea where my Elegance come from. Had it for 3 months and it’s doubled in size.

I’ve got one! It’s Indo, I don’t know if it was specifically Malaysia but it’s doing great! I feed mine chunks out of LRS Frozen foods and the feeding response is amazing to watch! Very healthy, had him for 4 months now

It has been said that the elegance corals from Indo are harder to keep. Mine is Australian, they are supposed to be more hardy... But who knows if that's true, or if it still applies today

Mine looks like it’s going to split and it now has two mouths. Not sure if that’s the normal turn of events?
Not normal but definitely welcome! Yours must be super healthy. A long time ago my dad had one that started at 1 head and ended with 10+. Beautiful coral, and the clowns hosted it it was beautiful.

Does look good under the blue lights and enjoys the flow it has - enjoys a bit of prawn every now and then too. I’ve no Clowns so won’t experience that but I can imagine how good it looked.

I don't have a ton of insight on Malaysian corals in particular because most Indonesian corals are labeled exactly that but if you do a bit of research on elegances on YouTube, multiple vendors have videos stating that their Indo elegances are alot more finicky and have had 1 elegance go downhill and take all of the other elegances in their system with it. For that reason alone, I opted to go with Aussie when it came to elegances. Infact I currently have a rather large one in my 180.

This guy has a skeleton that's about 8" but expands every bit of 18+" when happy and has 15 or so mouths.

A bit of general elegance information... They're snail assassins, and can and will eat hermits, shrimp and even smaller fish if they feel frisky. Medium to low light and medium flow.

Indo elegances will generally have come shaped skeletons. Aussie will almost always have a flat bottom on the skeleton.

Another pic of my Aussie just because

That look like mine. Is it possible that two elegance from different areas have same colour?

Honestly I’m not sure, I was told he was an Aussie from somebody breaking down their tank. Wasn’t really looking for one but the wife wanted it so here we are.

Did you see the picture of my elegance? It is the same as yours. Either mine is Australian and sold.m by Malaysian, or yours is Malaysian sold as Australian.

if you think about it, Malaysia, Australia, and Indonesia, they are very close to each other. It is not surprising if the distributors are cross livestock with each other, no?
