Elements people measure for in their reefs

I'm interested to hear what people are measuring in their reefs.
Ignore the usual Mg, alk, Ca, nitrate, temp , salinity and phosophate.

What have you found measuring for a particular elements helps with?

I do weekly water changes so the rest of the parameters are of little value to me. I typically send off two or three samples per year for ICP results on the rest of the parameters.

I guess that makes sense. I am quite lazy, so try to stretch water changes out. So keen to see if people measure for potassium or anything else.

Since I tend to run a ulns I also test for I2, Fe and K per the Red Sea recipe.

Ok, thats interesting to me. Have you found these elements get used up fast? At the same rate as Ca maybe?

The Fe and I2 seem to get used up quickly but K doesn’t get used up very fast. I have to dose K maybe once a month.
