I remember pre-COVID, the reefing community was bustling with beautiful variants of species constantly appearing, trading online was robust and there was active communication across all social media! During Covid, there was a brief increase in sales due to boredom but now over 2 years later inflation has kicked in. In my community there was (and still is) a massive self off of hobbyist’s selling their setups and people going out of/selling their businesses. Also the frag shows seem less each year. With both people and options. Does this mean we are headed to a diminished reefing community or is this a temporary setback in which we’ll recover once we’re over this hump?
