It is green and grows like a monti cap would. requires high light med flow

it looks like agaricia lamarcki or pachyseris foliosa,orrugosa.do you know where its from?

no lfs had it in the dent section picked it up with the other one i have listed for an id

i dont think its agaricia lamarcki it has no holes to speak of and it kind of looks like the pachyseris but its alot thinner and tends to grow in more of a sheet like manner

thats so weird I havnt seen that coral in about 10 years...it used to come in all the time back in the mid 90's...I always knew it as elephant skin...Elephante skinneiosis? haha just kidding sorry

Yeah I got that type of coral more than once when I had my shop. I really liked them but they were poor sellers. Looks like you got a good one.

Yep probably seven years ago they were always on the stock lists. I know I would get that coral early on. I don't know how available it still was when I pulled the plug but I stopped ordering it when no one would buy them. I wouldn't mind having a small one again. They were hardy corals and had cool sweepers.

yeah and they grew really fast if i remember correctly...and now that I think about it I do remember it being a pachyseris...dont know the actual species though
