hey everone,

Just wondeing what electeical.current can do to corals? I dont know how long I could have had this issue but just went to pick up a fallen coral and I know that feeling right away. I think it was a heater that I've unplugged and assuming simply throw it away. But just wondering what some of the imapcts can be?

Thanks

Please plug all tank equipment into gfci receptacle.
Safety first.

Get yourself a multimeter and test the voltage while unplugging equipment one at a time. It's usually the heater like you said but you'll want to know for sure. I have also had Powerheads leak voltage

Pretty sure it was found out the old fashioned way, but I'll be testing for it as well and getting a grounding probe.
