Just got my second triton test back with elevated Chromium. The first test in November showed high chromium and mercury. I found that the bracket for the AI prime was touching the water so I flipped it around so the metal part is on the back side of the tank.
This seemed to solve the mercury issue but the chromium is still elevated. Barring a metal piece rusting away in a hidden corner I have a couple suspects.

- The metal blade for the flipper cleaner/scraper.
- A metal binder clip that I use to close the end of the silicon drain hose to the skimmer. It's not submerged but it close enough to the water that I'm suspicious.
