Hello, i just got some LEDs from RapidLED. 36 LEDs with 3 ELN-60-48P dimmable drivers. I ordered the wrong driver, I meant to get "D" NOT the "P" version. Could i connect my "P" drivers to a potentiometer with a 12VDC??
ELN-60-48P Mean Well Driver. Power Supply?

Nope, the P's use a pwm signal. Could possibly make a 555 timer act like a pwm signal. But I'd call them up and explain you ordered the wrong drivers. they'll probably exchange them for the D's no problem. Mike has excellent customer service there.

Of course, by the time you pay to ship them back and get the D's, you'll be halfway to the price of a basic PWM controller that you can program for a nice sunrise/sunset effect. The Typhoon comes to mind, but there are others that are similar and may even cost less.

Seeing as he ordered it from Rapidled, I'd be surprised if they even charged him shipping. You'd be surprised how ncie they are. The typhon is a good piece of kit, and aeveryone loves gadgets to fiddle with.
