Elos ATO Buyers Beware

So in 4 weeks time I still have not received my replacement pump from CoralVue. I will be going on vacation Friday. This isn't the first time I've been screwed by CoralVue. The last time was due to false advertising. I will never buy another product CoralVue or ELOS sells. To top it all off ELOS didn't even want to uphold the 2 year warranty on the ATO. I was informed right off the bat the warranty was 1 year on the pump. The Owner's manual made no such distiguishment. It plainly said 2 years. So I sent their "rep" a picture of it. Then I still had to wait around for ELOS to decide if they wanted to honor the 2 year warranty. 4 weeks later "I'll send you a tracking number when the shipment arrives". Never will I buy another Reef Octopus product, ELOS product, or anything else CoralVue distributes. Buyers beware.

At this point I do not expect to receive the part I was told I would receive as warranty repair. Its been 4 weeks and at this point my requests for updates and phone calls to request updates are being ignored.
 
Weird, Chris from CoralVue is pretty good at getting back to emails and taking care of warranty parts.
 
All I keep hearing is about a shipment and no ETA provided and accused of trying to start arguments.
 
And now they've closed my case without resolution. Such much for warranties with ELOS from the looks of it. Oh well. I'll let the BBB handle it.
 
The complaint with the BBB was responded to, but still no pump. They offered to settle by sending a replacement pump which to me seems more like more stringing the customer along because we aren't going to honor the warranty but we'll string you along until you give up. I'm not leaving it alone until I receive a replacement part for a product still covered by warranty.
