I’ve always been curious about Elos glass. They’ve claimed in the past that they use sapphire (that’s right, sapphire crystal not starphire) as panes in their tank. As a result, they claim that it is clearer and more scratch resistant than than low iron glass. I’m not sure how true this claim is, and do not know if any independent analysis of their glass. Is this diamond vision something different?

I have a 200XL, and the nearly 20mm glass is the same clarity as the ~10mm glass on my Red Sea XL200 to my eyes. I haven’t seen thicker Red Sea glass for comparison, though.
