Emerald crab diet

I just placed 4 Emerald crabs in my tank and noticed that one of them immediately took a liking to the Asternia starfish on my rocks. Has anyone else seen this. I am good with this he will help keep the population of them down. Just have never heard of Emerald crabs eating them.

Crabs are omnivores so whatever they can get a hold of they will eat. When I put nori on my clip I usually hunt for my big one and give him his own strip. Helps to keep his aggression down.

I will try that but not sure my fish will share they love their see weed.

I know my last one loved to eat the bubbles off my bounce mushroom and store extra ones on his arms to eat later.
