Emerald crab - do you ever see them again?

I received 2 emerald crabs with my CUC. One was obviously dead. The other crawled under my rock and I have not seen him since. Should I have seen him/her by now? Tank cycling since late October 2021. The rest of my crustaceans doing very well.

i have 2 emerald crabs and 2 pitho crabs in my DT. i see the pitho’s more and they’re white and blend in with the sand.

Theyre very good at hiding and sometimes are right in front of you without you realizing. You will at least see its claw poking around

I have two as well. About a week or two later I thought I lost one but it actually molted. Ending up finding both of them and noticed one was twice the size as the other. Both have been living together for the past couple months with no issues. The big one does seem to beat up on the small one when going after any of the food that gets left behind from the fish/coral but the small one just moves along to another rock and eats away.
