Emerald crab eating acropora??

Hello, I have this strange emerald crab who every night goes to the same acropora and sits at its base all night it seems. He always chooses the same acro even though I've got dozens. He seems to be picking near or even on it but the acro doesn't appear to be distressed. What's going on here??

I would keep an eye on it and check the coral as well, i have seen an emerald crab prey on a torch coral before... never have seen one eat any sps but i don't trust them too much anymore..

It uses the Coral for protection. My lfs has allot of sps with small crabs in them. Always staying in the same Coral. Probably the crab is in the same colour range.

Maybe for protection. Weird.

He may be eating algae or he may be hiding. Check coral my emerald crab was just eating bubble algae

I made an example vid at my lfs. He has allot of corals with Crabs like this. Its awsome to see.
