I came home from work yesterday and found that my emerald crab was molting. That was about 5:30 PM. It's about 9:15 AM and he's still not finished. Is this normal? How long does this usually take? My cleaner shrimp has done it twice and we wake up and his shed is on the bottom of the aquarium. I was just curious. Thanks.

havent seen this yet for mine. ANy chance you have a pic? I did see my long spine black urchin poop for the first time yesterday. Pretty exciting....but Im a guy sooo;Wacky

I posted a pic in the thread. I'm still trying to figure this out lol. I get excited over everything that happens in my aquarium. I'm just so fascinated with it all!

hmmm do they start to lose the green and become more chalky white before they molt?

Mine did. I've had him about 3 weeks, and this is the 1st time he's done it. He's still not finished. From what I can tell, he's gonna be a deep dark green. I can't hardly wait lol.
