How concerned should I be about this? I have never seen him eat the polyps or anything. Please look at the picture and tell me what you guys think.

I've never had a problem with emerald crabs picking at ANY coral. Most likely he is cleaning up detritus and other organics. I'd just keep an eye on it. Anything is possible, but in 20 years of reefing I have never seen an emerald crab eat anything they weren't supposed to. Except for a cleaner shrimp while molting and that was a massive emerald crab approximately the size of a silver dollar.

Let’s hope so just keep an eye on him I had one take down two torches. Caught him red handed on the second one. Needless to say he got relocated
Wow that sucks, I keep trying to see if I can catch him harming it, but I just haven't yet.

If you keep your crabs fed and happy it's generally not an issue.
Yeah I have bad bubble algae breakout so they should be fine also there is extra pellets on the bottom for em.

Keep in-mind that emerald crabs are "reef snobs", ie: when they find tastier food - they tend to gravitate to that. This is why most start out great with algae but gradually find posher meals elsewhere.
