So can anyone give me a suggestion on how to keep my emerald crab off my kenya tree? Every morning I cime downstairs and he has climbed the kenya tree and the tree is laying bent over to the sand from his weight and it takes about half the day for it to come back up. I don't see anything on the tree to make him want to be on it.

RELOCATION! At night when he moves into the Kenya tree (if you have a red lens flashlight) grab him and move him to the opposite side of the tank. if he comes back just tap him for a few days he'll get scared of the place and move on. I have to do that when they move into my acro and don't want to work trying to let the food come to them, its worked well for several years and ive never had to get rid of any them.

Ok. I have been moving him each ttime and kind of putting the stick near him after that each time. I just didn't know if that was a good idea or not. Thank you.

I tap mine with a thin plastics tubing I have and scare him away or pluck them and move them to where they need to do some work. I figured since I paid for them they should work where I want it. It never takes me more than 4 nights to get them uninterested in a area and interested in another.

Yea I have two set of rock work that cuc is completely ignoring. I ended up scraping anf sucking most of the area. So to say.

I put some tubing a 1/4 inch up a dowel rod and scrapped off algae during water changes. Worked well not great but well enough.

I think my emerald crab ate on my frogspawn the other night. I am missing pieces and found him in the heads that morning. I was not happy. He is slowly going after my few corals I do have.

I do this same thing to keep my Sexy's off my zoas :) After a week or so they no longer go near them :)

Well if it won't work then move to the dime if you have one or sell it and get a replacement.
