Tank is about two months old. Today nioticed this lil guy come out when feeding from a live rock from my lfs I got about 2 weeks ago. Pretty sure its an emerald, looking for verification. And if its easy to keep em happy and away from corals.

Looks like it to me. You can give them seaweed strips. They typically have an appetite for coral unless they are starved. Then again people use crabs as scapegoats for everything.

Ditto on emerald and feeding nori. I have been lucky and haven't a problem with them. They may sit on the occasional coral, but haven't seen them be destructive.

I used to hand feed mine nori. It learned that, when my flashlight came on at night, it was time to race out of the rock and hold its claws out towards the light haha

best bubble algae control out there - I have 15 of them across 3 tanks - only once have I seen bubble any where they couldn't get to it

and only once have I seen one "picking" at coral, a Goni, and have watched the Goni carefully, and not seen any ill effect to that Goni
