Emerald crabs/bubble ???

You think Emerald crabs will venture way up into strong current & light to eat bubble algae?
 
at night time they're everywhere. imo, they're the best bubble algae option out there.
 
Are they mostly nocturnal ? I'm afraid they will turn to another easier meal .
Sorry LA. Ya beat me to it . I feel emboldened o try a couple as I'm not a crab fan .

I would say that they are in my tank. I only really see them when the lights are off or occasionally when I feed. IME they're not merciless killers of fish but I have caught mine tearing apart a halloween hermit and they're very strong for their size which means your smaller rock work will get shoved around if it's loose.
