So the question comes up every now and then but time changes perspective and new info is gathered so I'd like to pose the question again. I recently brought home 2 little emerald crabs. Not very big not very active. However, today I'm a little worried because I haven't seen my red scooter at all who is a very active member of the tank. Anyone thinking the crabs had a midnight snack? I've always thought they weren't the predatory type and even if they tried a healthy fish would just swim off... thoughts?

Prematurely blamed the crabs. Just found the scooter behind the tank dried out. Other than him getting spooked by a crab and flying out I can't think of why he'd jump. It's a pretty tall tank, he's not free swimmer
