Did the Red Sea pro and 0.5 ml got 3.5 ALK checked PH and oh 7.6 what should I do

Did the alk test and used 0.5ml ….. with test I got 7 drops which is equivalent on chart to 3.5

and then I checked PH was 7.6 when I did the test

so your Alk is 3.5 DKH and PH is 7.6 ? I don't think your DKH can get that low. It would be acidic at that point.

Ok if you feel that DKH is accurate then you can dose small amounts of alk and slowly bring it back up. Couple good water changes can help also.

Get Hanna Alk Checker.
Sounds like some error in that number.
Or just another opinion first.

Try making an alkalinity standard solution using the 2 part brs soda ash if you have some on hand, if not you can make soda ash. You should be able to get it close to check the accuracy of the test kit.
