Setting up the plumbing for my Reefer 250 G2. Screwed the supplied pipes into the overflow but notice that the emergency drain and main drain are the same height. What did I do wrong? Or am I missing something here?

Ahhhh ... I am stupid. The clear top/outer tube part of the main drain is just to prevent things like snails, etc from getting in. So the main drain is in fact a few inches shorter than the emergency drain.![]()
Technically both. the clear one is the main drain, and you want the water level to "just" trickle into the middle drain. That would be your best and quietest operation. but because it is Red Sea... good luck with that. In my experience it will never stay steady, it will drift over weeks. So wait. Where does the water go down into the sump from? The clear white tube one or the middle tube?
