I think my clownfish has swim bladder disease and I need to set up an emergency hospital tank! I’ve never done this before and not sure how. I’m going to get a five gallon tank kit with tank, lid, lights, filter, and heater. I’m not sure what to do about cycling the tank in a very short period of time though. What’s the best way for me to do this? I can’t get my hands on bottled bacteria unless I have it shipped and I don’t really have any extra sponges in my filter for this purpose as my main tank is an AIO and filtration columns are small. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Youre on the right path. Your best bet with no established media is to monitor ammonia levels very closely and do large water changes. I would also order some bottled bac to help establish the new media once it comes in
