So I accidentally left my dos dosing pump on for a few hours tonight and it dosed 1,200 ml of All For Reef into my 70 gallon tank. I just ran an all test on my trident and it hasnt started to rise yet. I am making water right now but it won’t be ready for a few hours. Other than back to back water changes, is there anything I can do except wait and pray?

CRISIS AVERTED!!!

So I have no idea how I got this lucky, but I just looked at my dosing container and noticed that it still looked pretty full, so I ran the dosing pump manually for a minute, and nothing came out, so then I opened up the container and realized that the pick up tube was above the water line and I hadn't dosed anything into my tank at all!

The whole reason I had switch on the doing pump was because I mixed up a new batch of AFR last night and then the ALK had dropped today, so I thought the pump had lost its prime. The issue was that when I shoved the tube back in the container, it curved up and was at the top of the container.

Anyways, now that I didn't nuke my tank, I am buying everything I need for a saltwater mixing station with a high head pump so I can have mixed saltwater on hand that I can pump up from the basement next time I ACTUALLY F**K up.
