Emergency! My apex has stopped reading temp!

I’m at work and can’t look at it. But the temp hasnt changed in a few hours and the heater hasn’t turned on since noon! What can I do from my phone besides turn on the heater?

All you can do for now is to shut off your heater till you get home just to be in the safe side. If your heater has its own thermostat and you trust it, then the heater should shut off once it reaches its temp.

As for the temp probe it might just need to be reinserted again.

Edit: misread and saw that the heater hasn't turned on. It has been pretty warm today in Concord, so it might be ok. Still, if you trust the thermo on the heater if it has one, then turn it on and it will shut off at whatever temp you have it on, and hopefully it's close to where you regularly keep temp.at.

Never mind but thank you. I called home to have someone check. The ambient temp in my fishroom is 79.9! Gonna have to fix that situation. I panicked a little

Probably not a bad idea to hook up a $30 Wyze cam you can look at the tank real time that has a 2nd digital temp display
