Hi power went out completely for 20 ago and is anticipated to be out for 3-4 more hours. I don’t have a battery backup for my vortech. Is there anything i can do?

Keep water moving manually to keep oxygen lvls up

Walmart has battery powered airpumps for under $10 bucks, I have used them successfully in the past.
Or grab a small bucket and move some water in there ever hr or so.

thanks everyone. Power is back on. Now I have motivation to at least do homework on some backup plans. At a minimum, car battery. Then, a whole house generator when i can afford it

bone head tourists come down here- cause accidents and hit poles and use up more grid power on a hot day. It’s probably more prudent to at least have an inverter until hurricane season/winter.
