Emergency!! Water really cloudy when pumps come on!!

I turned my pump off for a minute to feed my corals and when I turned it back on a big cloud of stuff came out. I left it on for a minute and it’s still happening! What should I do!

Is it consistently cloudy from your return pump? Or just a big cloud then nothing?

Is it just airbubbles? That just means your pump is running dry.

Perhaps some crud got loose and shot out from the pipes? My 7 year old tank shoots out some stuff at times when I turn the pump back on.

Micro bubbles from skimmer or pump pulling in air from sump
