Emergency!! Water really cloudy!,

I turned off my pump for a minute to feed my corals and when I turned them back on they blew a cloud of this cloudy stuff. I left them on for a minute and it’s still happening!! What should I do?

Don’t worry that’s what happens sometimes usually sand or ext builds up and it does that. It’s common in my tank as well

How long was the water cloudy for? Could it be a crushed/dead snail or invert? It might be a bacterial bloom as well. Could also be just detritus.

Could it be that your return pump just threw in a bunch of detritus from the sump into the display?

Generally when pumps are turnef off , they kick back a little water flow and may have loosened settled matter and then allowed it to flow into tank

If it clears up in a few minutes then it is and there's no need to worry. Gd luck.
