I came home to find my algae blennie dead have checked all water paramo everything seems normal except my ammonia which is 0.8!ppm will i do a water change is it from the dead fish? A hermit crab was also dead thst could of been dead a few days ?

Change the water immediately and remove the decaying bodies, a very large water change like 50% or more is what you need right now. Pick up a bottle of nitrifying bacteria (Dr. Tim’s one and only works well) and dump that in there as well

It wouldn't hurt to add some Prime also.

Agreed. Water change, remove the bodies before they can break down. Get something like Dr Tim’s one and only, biospira, microbacter, etc.
Agreed on all the above. Definitely get something like Seacham Prime AND add a bacteria culture like Instant Ocean Biospira. ASAP!
(both of these are normally available at Petco or Petsmart, which is the main reason I recommend them above others since if you're in many parts of the USA you can get them now until closing time at like 8 or 9pm, though whatever your LFS has should also be good)
