Woke up my tang lethargic. Hiding in cave not coming out. Looked ok yesterday. Haven't fed in a day because was away. Put quickly into a Qt tank. Looks like it's dying. Only thing I notice is dorsal fin slightly different. I'll post a pic but that has been there for awhile. Didn't think much of it.

My DT parameters look fine:

Salinity 1.026
Ammonia 0
Nitrate 8.3
Phos 0.27
Alk 8.5

It's hanging out by the air stone in my Qt lethargic but breathing fast. Not interested in food or Nori.

Occasionally moving close to air stone for a couple of seconds then going on its side.

I posted on partner member forum in a rush when happening but wanted open up to anyone that is up an awake.

I have been out of touch with my tank for two days. Haven't fed but thought it would be ok.

Tang only eats frozen food but was trying to get it to pellets and thought my GHA would also supplement. So wasn't giving nori.

I am afraid it may have been my fault. Maybe undernourished. I have had it for about 3 months. Qt'd it for a month. Looked happy (at least until I observed well on Friday). Last night it looked fine.

Not sure if the dorsal fin an issue. I noticed it for a week or more but didn't think anything of it. Gets alone well with my 2 clowns and royal gramma.

Sorry I'm rambling. Trying to repeat all the info I gave in the partner member section to open up to a wider audience. I realize it's early Sunday morning. Sorry
