Hi everyone. I qt my fish, but i bought a fish that was apparetly sick from a local store thats pretty well known. they claimed it was in qt but its really not a qt tank. got home and it was eating fine and moving around then i put it in hyposalinty and i saw ich the next couple days. i realized it wasnt ich because of all the sprinkles and it ended up with velvet. i had some other fish in there, they are ok, but they are contaminated to. the emperor hasnt eaten in a week, but looks clean of velvet and stuff. i had to dose coppersafe to 2.0 for two days to get him cleaned.he is breathing hard but not super fast. I am currently in hyposalinity and copper still of 1.85 for coppersafe. also dosing with metroplex and kana. any advice to get him feeling better?

Sounds like you are doing the best you can do, Oodinium is brutal, I'd be focused on getting it eating something, what foods have you offered?

thanks for quick reply. i tried feeding pellets and some of the frozen food from hikari the spirinella

Try fresh mussle/clams on the half shell from local grocery store seafood counter, also if you have some sump rock to spare (permanently because meds)/macro algae or better yet see if your LFS has some cheap red ball/ orange tree sponges to offer it
