I have an Emperor Angel that has started swimming like this. We have put him in an isolation area to keep him higher in the water column to keep the pressure down. I was told that it appears to be a swim bladder issue. I wanted to see what the best way to help is. I have read that feeding peas is a good idea. He is still currently eating TDO without an issue. So I just want to make sure I am doing the correct things.

Unfortunately the fish is moribund and will have a 50/50 chance of recovery. Video image too blue to see any signs of what contributed but you can provide added oxygen with airstone. Do keep in mind it may not eat or swim normal moving forward

So there is no chance that this is a swim bladder issue? He has been eating decently. I put the food directly into the box.

While it can be one contributor, other internal issue, injury, aggression and impact with object are some other causes
I assume fish has accelerated breathing rate also?

It isn't really doing much accelerated breathing at all. I am thinking that it could be an injury so keeping him isolated is helping. I did put in an air stone that it is going near and almost playing with. I would almost say it has become more lively since I put it in. Should I try feeding some peas to see if would remove any blockage it might have? I did see it go the bathroom once and it came out "forceful". It was like it was bound up.

Peas is an old method for freshwater goldfish and wont do much. If it uprights itself and improves (fingers crossed)- Brine shrimp would be good

If it is constipated, what is the recommended food? I saw that someone had posted using Organic Castor Oil.
No caster oil in your tank water - another Old freshwater remedy from long ago - Be careful what you read and focus on posted dates of reading material

Sometimes (IF it's a swim bladder issue) - and I can't see the video - this can be caused by an infection. You could consider moving the fish to a hospital tank and treating with a broad spectrum antibiotic - like kanamycin. Hope it pulls through

I don't see that as being a swim bladder issue, the fish does look moribund (actively dying). I could be wrong, but the telling tale would be if the fish still feeds. If not, then it is most likely dying - sorry!

I am fine with that. I have been putting TDO into the chamber and the emperor is eating it. I put in an air stone and it is actively trying to swim upright. It will get upright for a second then go sideways. If it has a damaged bottom fin, could that also cause the issue? I can work on getting any pictures or videos that will help.
