Empty 2.5 gal tank ideas?

Okay I had a yellow clown goby in my 13.5 And he was my favorite fish for a while, can i put one of those in there?

I finally took some pics of the tank. It is bare bottom as of now, but may not be later. I used some dry rock, and some out of my small fluval Evo 13.5. I am using the hob filter and the crappy led lights right now, but I will get a Pico wavemker and pump and some better lights by the end of the week.

The tank is still pretty cloudy, but it should clear up soon. The parameters are as following:
Salinity-1.024
Ph-8.2
Ammonia-0.25(I’m not 100% it is api test kit)
Nitrite-0
Nitrate-0

I know this isn’t saltwater but yesterday I picked up a new Betta for my freshwater tank, do you guys have a name?

What do u plan to put in it?

IMHO I'd skip the fish, focus on coral. Small tanks generally fluctuate a lot and the reduced bioload will also reduce the swings in params.

Ok, my main plan was to focus on corals, so if I can’t add fish it is ok.

I mean there might be something you can add, but why add the extra source of a little swimming poop factory, lol.

Unfortunately, I had to tear the tank down. My AP Biology teacher just got a new betta, and didn’t have a tank, or anything for it. So I tore it down and gave her the tank with some gravel, decor, conditioner, and food. At least the new fish is happy.
