So I will be leaving my display tank empty for 76 days to break the cycle of Ich. My question is what upkeep do I need to do with my empty display take ?

Than no worries...turn the lights way down or off. Continue regular maintenance , and the fallow period will be over before you know it.

Well this is helpful in freshwater ich scenarios, I would not raise the temp in salt water as it doesn’t not speed up the cycle and in some cases prolongs the cycle. I would leave the temp between 76-78.

Add liquid bacteria such as bacter 7 and run tank as if there fish in it
