Emptying Tank for 24 hours

So I am having to move my tank to the other side of the living room, the issue is that i will have to have it empty for 24 hours until all the guys come over to help me move the tank. I am assuming all the coralline on the back will die, so should I just scrape it off to avoid a nutrient spike?

I did this a while back and not all coralline died. Most did, but it came back in no time. Mine took about 36 hours to get done, so a little longer than you plan.

As for nutrient spikes, I had none and actually had my nutrients almost bottom out after the move. Not sure if it is because I rinsed the sand or what, but had to dose for a few weeks after as it was eating NO3 and PO4 like a boss lol.

I wouldnt. Use a spray bottle of saltwater on it occasionally and a lot of it is going to survive. I have had rocks out of water for multiple days with the coralline surviving just fine.

I like this idea. Use some tank water and try to keep it wet to save as much as you can. Who needs sleep anyway?
