Encrusting Coral ID Please!

Buddy and I each picked one of these up yesterday. Mine has the rainbow look at the bottom, his apparently does not. This was after a dip in Coral RX so tentacles are not out yet. About 12" under water - AI 16HD @ about 60% located 12" above water. A) is this normal coloration? B) What's it called? C) Light requirements.

This looks very similar.. so many different variants. I was concerned about the rainbow ish looking base but others online show it too
