Second on leptastrea. I’ve got three and those things will grow in a mudhole. Doesn’t matter where I put them they keep chugging. Some of the blue-ish ones will turn an ugly brown in the “carpet” part though if you give them too much light.One of the divers suggested Leptastrea, seeing them in shallow water.
Majority of encrusting LPS are low to moderate light corals. Encrusting SPS like montiporas should be a better choice, they are fairly tolerant in mixed reef tank.
