Encrusting gorgonian

So i was warned about how encrusting gorgonian can become a nuisance and i even placed it away from my main rock work (on an island of sorts), but it managed to bridge the gap and has started to invade my main rock work and has already overtaken some ricordia mushrooms. Any tips on how to prevent further incursion?

The only way to get rid of it is to pull the rocks out of the tank. Soak it RODI until dead.

Agree with @Big G, just want to add be careful with the water and container you use to kill it.

Some gregorians have some pretty toxic chemicals used to deter being eaten. Use a disposable container, and make sure not to get any in your eyes or open cut, and dont dump where an animal can get to it.

okay so i can't really pull the rock out (it is the main rock supporting the whole structure). but can i just try and control it- even if i don't get rid of them all.
