Hi Guys

At end of cycle on 300L
Ammonia & nitrite 0
Ph 8
Nitrate 35/40

I’m doing red seas reef care program which targets 2ppm nitrate.

So before I put first fish in (After 6 months of planning and setup, can’t wait!!!) I’m wondering how much water to change.

And also how to do it in easiest way as I assume I’ll have to change most of the 300L.

I can’t make and store 300L. I have 120L container.

If I empty tank then add RO to fill then add salt is the shock of all that going to kill all the bacteria I’ve spent weeks growing!

I’d love some advice on this, thanks

Jamie

No it won’t shock them

you don’t need to change the water in a tank that size you can simply begin reefing now.
