GAME REMINDER
WE ALL SCREAM

title gif.gif

....for ice cream! Summer is officially here, it's hot, and I want some scream! However, where should I get it? For this game, I will post a logo of a restaurant that's famous for ice cream or an ice cream brand every hour, on the hour. However, the logo is completely covered in black. The first person to identify the restaurant or brand name gets a point. After ten rounds, the person with the most points wins a $30 GIFT CARD!!!

In the event of a tie, the person that scored first wins. Good luck!

I was gonna soak it in nem-be-gone

Or do they make a nem-stay-put???

Seriously though- don’t rocks naturally absorb phosphates???
To answer your question, yes and no. They can sometimes absorb, and sometimes leach. For some reason, phosphates will try to reach equilibrium with the rock and water around it. So, for instance, if your tank water is 10ppm and the rock has none bound up into it, then some phosphates will absorb into your rock until the rock and water column reaches equilibrium. The inverse is true as well, which is much more often the case for our hobby. Someone will start with rock that's loaded with PO4 and add clean water. The PO4 will then slowly leach out into the water column until both their concentrations are roughly the same, and this game of cat and mouse will continue ad infinitum.
