The question is do keep the current tank and set up a new one when it arrives or do I transfer everything…..

Or like it has been suggested make the 75 a nem tank…..hmmmmmm

Having moved many tanks in my day, I would highly recommend setting up the new tank, letting it settle in, then slowly transferring. You can switch tanks out in a day or two if you have a couple hands to help, but the chances of coral death increase in this situation. A "leap-frog" system is recommended, in my experience, but that's hard to do if the old tank is where you'd like the new tank to be.
